Peace Day - the UN International Day of Peace, an annual day of global ceasefire and non-violence was on 21 September and Ben & Jerry’s are proud to have been involved.

The Peace One Day organization held a major concert for peace, featuring Annie Lennox, Yusuf (formerly Cat Stevens), Corinne Bailey Rae, James Morrison, Marc Almond and Kate Nash at the Royal Albert Hall. Jude Law also made a guest appearance on the day, as did Ben and Jerry!
 
We encouraged all our Cool Clubbers to make peace on Peace Day and two lucky fans, Carla and Ann, won a pair of tickets each to go to the landmark event. Cowgratulations! Watch out for Peace day 2008 and start thinking how you might get involved.

Ben and Jerry feel passionate about campaigning for social and environmental justice and we encourage you to campaign for peace too.
