History will be made on 20 January 2009: a limited edition ice cream flavour will be sworn in to the Ben & Jerry’s scoop shop in Windsor, for just two hours, to mark Barack Obama’s inauguration as President of the USA…

 ‘Yes, Pecan’ has been especially renamed by Ben & Jerry’s, in honour of Obama’s historic inauguration, and adds an even sweeter twist to the successful campaign’s uniting theme, ‘Yes, we can’.

A delicious concoction of chocolate ice cream, white & dark fudge chunks, pecans, walnuts & fudge covered almonds, ‘Yes, Pecan’ has something for everyone, so really is the people’s choice! From 12 to 2pm, on Tuesday 20 January, come and join the Obama celebration with a free cone or cup of ‘Yes, Pecan’ at Ben & Jerry’s flagship Windsor scoop shop, Peascod Street.

As well as raising a healthy dollop of good cheer, the great ‘Yes, Pecan’ free scoop giveaway will support the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
