If it's melted it's ruined! Support renewables!
Why Is This So Important?
Despite our country’s massive potential for clean energy, the government has not only cut support to our cheapest clean energy source - onshore wind, but is dragging down solar down with it! This is despite the fact that onshore wind is one of the most liked forms of new energy that we have. If we want to stand any chance of keeping the promises made in 2015’s Paris Climate Agreement, then we must act now!
What Can I Do To Help?
We need you to take action today and it’s easier than you think. We’ve teamed up with climate change charity 10:10, to petition the government to reinstate support for clean energy. Join us and thousands of others in demanding a greener future NOW by signing the petition and learning more about the clean energy movement below, because there really is no PLANet B.

Let’s Dig a Little Deeper…
The UK is lucky enough to have a wealth of renewable energy sources right on its doorstep. Sure, us Brits like to grumble about the grey days, but let’s look on the bright side – our weather gives our country a huge potential to tap into clean energy, in particular wind, which we think is pretty awesome!
Why the UK <3’s Wind
Wind is a vital ingredient in moving away from polluting fossil fuels and building a future based on clean energy. Onshore wind is not only our cheapest form of new energy, but also one of our most liked, with a whopping 73% of the British public being pretty big, ahem, fans of it according to this poll by our pals at 10:10.
So, How Do We Get the UK Government To Support the Clean Energy Movement?
Despite these numbers, our government currently has a major focus on nuclear and fracking – which only 46% and 34% of the British public support respectively. They have also recently cut support for small scale renewables, for example home installs, business roofs, and pretty much banned onshore wind projects in the UK by cutting support and changing the planning rules.
It’s about time our government listen to the kind of clean energy we want. If we want to stand any chance of keeping the promises made in 2015’s Paris Climate Agreement, then we must begin to shift away from dirty fossil fuels and towards renewables. So what are you waiting for? Sign the petition today!
