
1. Ben & Jerry’s Sundaes in the Park Festival will take place on Saturday 27th July 2024 12:00pm-10:00pm at Chiswick House and Gardens, Burlington Ln, Chiswick, London W4 2RP.
2. Tickets can be purchased from 02:00pm on 3rd May 2024 until the tickets are sold out.
3. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification required on the day.
4. Ticket purchase is limited to a maximum of 10 tickets per purchaser.
5. The ticket holder agrees to release, discharge and hold Unilever UK Ltd, the management, venue, event participants and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers harmless from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind resulting from your participation in this event whether occurring prior, during or after the event (save that nothing shall limit our liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence).
6. Event subject to licensing & site permissions approval.
7. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
8. Smoking and vaping will be restricted to an approved designated outside area(s). Any patron smoking or vaping outside of the designated outside area(s) may be removed from the premises.
9. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact EventBrite or Ben & Jerry’s careline for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
10. Force Majeure: Promoter shall not be held responsible for failure or delay to perform all or any part of these terms and conditions including whether any event or match takes place, due to any act or omission beyond the control of the Promoter, including but not limited to epidemics, pandemics, flood, fire, earthquake, drought or other natural disaster, war terrorism, civil unrest, riots or threats of war, terrorism, civil unrest or riots, any action taken by a governmental or public authority of any kind (including not granting a consent, exemption, approval or clearance), an event of national significance (including any day of national mourning) or any other events, which could not be predicted, controlled, avoided or overcome by the Promoter.
11. Responsibility is not accepted for tickets lost, damaged or delayed as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
12. Ticket conditions:
a. Tickets will be tiered. Tickets will cost either £15, £18 or £20 depending on which tier is on sale. Tiering structure is at the discretion of Ben & Jerry’s. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the tiering structure or ticket price. In addition to the ticket fee, the purchaser will be charged a transaction fee of 6.95% of the face value plus a flat fee of £0.59 which will apply to each transaction.
b. 100% of ticket proceeds (not including transaction fee) will be donated to local charities which support refugees and people seeking asylum. Further details to be announced ahead of the festival at www.benjerry.co.uk
c. Tickets only covers entry to the festival and do not cover of any costs related to travel, accommodation, food, drinks or any expense of any kind.
d. Only assistance animals will be allowed access onto the site.
e. Use of the tickets is subject to the terms and conditions on the tickets and the regulations in force at the applicable venue. The tickets are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and non-refundable and there is no cash alternative in whole or in part unless otherwise stated above.
f. The tickets may not be resold under any circumstances. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
g. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter’s right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
h. Ticket purchases will be processed by Eventbrite. Eventbrite will share postcode data of all ticket holders to Chiswick House and Gardens. The form of this data will be the first 2-4 digits of the postcode only to identify the ‘post town’ (postcode only, to identify the ‘post town’. (e.g. KT1 is central Kingston; KT22 is Leatherhead)”.
13. The ticket holders will not be allowed to bring food and drink onto the site. Any food and drink brought by ticket holders will be disposed of at the entrance. Please email ukicare@unilever.com if there are concerns around this policy.
14. The ticket holders may be filmed / photographed by the Promoter or on our behalf during the festival. By attending the event, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable and transferable licence to use, reproduce, distribute and make derivative works of such footage / photographs in any media and through any media channel.
15. By purchasing tickets, all purchasers will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of the administration of this event and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. The personal data processed in relation to the festival will be governed by the Unilever Privacy Policy Privacy Notice | Unilever Legal (unilevernotices.com) , with the exception of the ticket purchase which shall be processed in accordance with the Eventbrite Privacy Policy available at Eventbrite GDPR & Eventbrite Security (https://www.eventbrite.ie/blog/academy/gdpr-at-eventbrite-ds0d/ and https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/security/) ). All entry instructions form part of the conditions for ticket purchase.
16. These terms and conditions and any issues or disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions (whether such disputes or issues are contractual or non-contractual in nature, such as claims in tort, for breach of statute or regulation or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Entrants hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to settle any such dispute or issues.
